Surrey Centre for Autism & Child Development
Building For Children Together Campaign
Without the support of the community, children with special needs are at risk of being left behind.
We have an opportunity to help make services for children with autism and other special needs more accessible than ever. Reach Child & Youth Development Society has been helping children with special needs and their families for over 60 years and our commitment to children and families has been unyielding.
You can make a difference! Help us to raise the funds to build a new Surrey Centre for Autism and Child Development.

THE NEW CENTRE WILL:
Support Children with Autism
Autism effects 1 out of 48 children and 1 in 29 boys. Individuals with autism may have cognitive disabilities, sensory problems and challenging behaviours.
Strengthen Families
Reach recognizes the fundamental, life-long role of parents and that the most effective way to provide support is to enable and empower families. We grow family capacity with education and family-centered and responsive service, ensuring families experience success and that each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Help Children Grow
REACH has been helping children with Autism since our inception with intensive interventions and behaviour support. These programs improve the quality of life for children with autism and their families.
Complement Existing Services
The prevalence of Autism and special needs is growing and many children are not receiving the support they need (15% of the population has special needs). A new Surrey Centre for Autism and Child Development will
complement and build on existing
infrastructure to meet these important needs of children and families in in Surrey.
